How Can I Help Trout Run Trail?

Trout Run Trail costs are estimated at nearly $5 million.  Although much of the money needed will come in the form of city, county, state, and federal grants or in-kind donations, more than $750,000 has been raised privately through November 2006.

In June 2006 Vision Iowa awarded the project a $1.6 million CAT grant contingent on completing the loop through the area know as "The Cut" just north of the intersection of Highways 9 and 52.  This challenge grant has raised our local fund raising goal for private contributions to $1.2 million.

Private fund raising is underway.  So far substantial progress toward the goal has been made ($1.03 million in gifts and pledges), but we still need your gift to make Trout Run Trail-Decorah a reality.
